Digislide unveils latest pocket projectors and gaming products at CeBIT
8th May 2008
Adelaide based technology company Digislide, will showcase their first pocket projector and also unveil three exciting projector-audio accessories for mobile console gaming on the South Australian Government stand at CeBIT.
Digishow™ is the company’s hand-held pocket projector, weighing in at 140 grams, measuring just 6cm x 11cm and able to project a screen size that ranges from 21in/53cm up to 73.5in/186cm.
Tim English, Chief Marketing Officer of Digislide said, “Digishow™ is highly portable, and designed to ‘plug-n-play’ – it’s affordable, simple to use and delivers remarkable picture quality”.
“Digishow™ is primarily angled towards the consumer market, offering easy solutions for sharing photos or video files, watching DVDs and gaming but it can also be used to deliver a professional presentation.”
“CeBIT provides the perfect platform to demonstrate Digishow™ with retailers, distributors and end users and we’re anticipating strong interest and volume sales to follow,” Tim said.
Digislide forecasts the market for the companion and pocket projectors to experience exponential growth in the next five years and is poised to take a share with the rollout of a series of niche products in Asia, Europe and the US.
Digislide brought MantaRay™, the world’s first ruggedised TV and video projector, to market in 2003. It follows up with the unveiling of three innovative miniature projection-audio accessories for the world’s best known consoles.
XRay™, StingRay™ and WeSii™, Digislide’s niche miniature projector and audio accessory docks, have been designed to complement Xbox 360™, Sony Playstation 2™ and Nintendo Wii™.
“XRay™, StingRay™ and WeSii™, are predicted to be the hottest gifts for Christmas 2009. Projectors may be ordered immediately, but you’ll have to wait for the audio accessory docks until September,” Tim said.
Digishow™ can be seen at the South Australian Government stand located at K40 while XRay™, StingRay™ and WeSii™ will be showcased at V72.
