MantaRay™ was Digislide’s first product to market. Designed, developed and manufactured in Adelaide, the MantaRay™ is a stand-alone forward video projector designed specifically for home entertainment enthusiasts.

MantaRay™ houses an in-built television tuner enabling users to receive and project television as a big image onto a wall, projection screen, or suitable vertical surface.

MantaRay™ was designed for greater portability than traditional data projectors. MantaRay™ maintains a lower cost of ownership, specifically because the light source has a zero degradation over the lifetime of the product.

The original unit boasts superior end-user safety, with a thermal cut off switch and all 240 Volts secured in its base. There are no warm up or cool down periods, and MantaRay™ also possesses composite video input, audio output, an in-built speaker, on screen menu system for image adjustments and a telescopic antenna for watching TV on-the-go.

The last production run of the MantaRay™ was completed in 2009, and it is anticipated that an upgrade of this very popular product will be released to market early 2010.
